European bourses were slightly positive
while Dow closed -31 at 16974. Trend of Dow is up. Dow's future
at the moment is +40. Europe opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei
+104, ShanghaiC +18, Hangseng -118. STI closed +7 at 3230. Volume
was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 191 to 205 losers.
Trend of STI is slightly looking up.
Top volumes were MDR +0.1, IHC unchanged,
Digiland unchanged, Yongnam +4.5, HPHTrust -1, Noble unchanged, SinoGrandness
+5.5, GoldenAgri +0.5, SingaporeeDev unchanged, Oceanus -0.1.
Market opened slightly up but drifted
to flat for most part of the day. There were some last minute buying to
bring it to close +7, which is near day high. Volume dipped below 1.3b
shares. There were more losers than gainers among the blue chips. Penny
stocks and speculatives were mixed.
Europe and Dow are looking steady at
the moment.
