European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow was -206 at 25081.
Trend of Dow is going down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei -30, ShanghaiC +36, Hangseng +421.
STI closed +9 at 3052. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 209 to 157
losers.
Trend of STI is trying to turn back up.
Top volumes were AsianPayTv +0.9, Genting +2.5, Ezion +0.3, HPHTrust
unchanged, MapletreeLogTr -2, RexIntl +0.4, YZJ +1, ComfortDelgro -7,
ThomsonMed +0.2, SingTel +3.
STI opened slightly down, fell further but turned back up to positive
before closing for lunch slightly down. After lunch it moved all the way up
and gained further strength when Europe opened up. A bit of profit taking
came in the last hour to pull it down and close off the day high at +9. Day
high was +22.
Blue chips were slightly firmer. The general market also closed a bit
firmer.
