European bourses closed mixed on Friday. Dow closed -179 at 24286. Trend
of Dow is down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +174, ShanghaiC -4, Hangseng +440.
STI closed +41 at 3093. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 197 to 140
losers.
Trend of STI is breaking out of the recent sideway movement.
Top volumes were Ezion +0.3, Vallianz -0.1, Genting +3, RichCapital
unchanged, NamCheong -0.1, AEM +6.5, RexIntl -0.2, HiP +25, ThomsonMed
+0.2, YZJ +3.
STI opened +8 and moved higher after half an hour of trading. It closed for
lunch at morning high at +26. After lunch is slid down slightly and picked
up again in mid afternoon and closed at day high at +41.
Blue chips were mostly green. The general market was slightly firmer.
