European bourses and Dow closed up last night. Dow was +241 at 25116.
Trend of Dow is about to break up from its recent falls. The long term
graph is still down trend. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei -1, ShanghaiC +3, Hangseng
+436. STI closed +39 at 3058. Volume was 2.3b shares. Gainers were 204
to 163 losers.
Trend of STI has break up and looking up on the short term.
Top volumes were Genting +1, YZJ +4, Ezion -0.2, ThomsonMed unchanged,
RexIntl -0.1, GoldenAgri +0.5, OCBC +43, ThaiBev +0.5, HPHTrust -0.5, AEM
+1.5.
STI opened up and reach morning high after an hour of trading. It closed
slightly off morning high for lunch. After lunch it tried to move higher
and high day high by 2pm and closed just off the high at +39.
Blue chips were mostly green with banks making good gains. The general
market was also firmer.
