European bourses were slightly down last night. Dow rallied with a gain of
618 points closing at 25366. Trend of Dow is breaking up. European bourses
opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed after opening positive. Nikkei +175, ShanghaiC
-3, Hangseng -232. STI closed +16 at 3112. Volume was 2.2b shares.
Gainers were 213 to 163 losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Ezion +0.3, AccordiaGolf -0.5, RichCapital -0.1, Nicosteel
+0.1, Spackman +0.2, Genting +1.5, RexIntl -0.1, YZJ +1, ThomsonMed +0.1,
SingTel +1.
STI gapped up on opening but closed for lunch off its morning high of +38
at +26. After lunch it moved up a little before sliding down to close the
day near day low at +16.
Blue chips were firmer and so was the general market.
