European bourses were up last night. Dow closed flat at 24465. Trend of
Dow is down. European bourses opened firmly up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +163, ShanghaiC -6, Hangseng +48.
STI closed +4 at 3043. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 149 to 181
losers.
Trend of STI is inching to turn back up.
Top volumes were RichCapital -0.1, CPH +0.1, Ezion -0.2, Spackman
unchanged, Genting unchanged, YZJ +1, AEM +2.5, SingTel +2, AsianPayTv
-0.1, GoldenAgri -0.5.
STI opened up but was negative after one hour of trading. It then recovered
a bit to close marginally up for lunch. After lunch it made a slow
recovery but fell again in the last half an hour to close +4 points.
Blue chips saw a bit more gainers than losers. The general market was
down.
