European bourses were down last night. Dow took another big hit, -552
points closing at 24466. Long term and short term trend of Dow is down.
European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei -55, ShanghaiC +7, Hangseng +137.
STI closed +13 at 3040. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 154 to 202
losers.
Trend of STI is still looking down.
Top volumes were Genting +2, NamCheong unchanged, SingTel +2, Ezion -0.1,
CWX -0.1, YZJ +1, RexIntl -0.1, GoldenAgri -0.5, KepInfraTr -0.5, BestWorld

STI opened down but climbed all the way to close for lunch on a positive
note. After lunch it continued to make gains and reached day high at 3049
by mid afternoon. After that it retreated slightly closing at 3040.
Blue chips were mostly green but the general market was weaker.
