European bourses closed mixed last night while Dow closed +432 at 24875.
Down trend of Dow is seeing a first big tick up. European bourses opened
sharply up.
Asian bourses closed mostly much higher. Nikkei +443, ShanghaiC +35,
Hangseng +394. STI closed +47 at 3014. Volume was 2.2b shares. Gainers
were 240 to 138 losers.
Trend of STI is having a first tick up.
Top volumes were Genting +2, ThaiBev +0.5, RexIntl +0.3, Ezion -0.1, YZJ
+5, SingTel +4, CapitalMallTr -1, AlliedTech +0.2, GoldenAgri +0.5,
AlphaEnergy +0.5.
STI opened down but moved up slightly to close for lunch down 10 points.
After lunch it stayed negative but moved up through the afternoon session
turning positive after an hour and closed near day high at +47. Day high
was +54.
Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was also up after the rally
in Dow and a strong opening in Europe.
European bourses and Dow's future are all firmly up at this moment.
