European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -201 at 26627.
Trend of Dow is weakening. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down for the weekend. Nikkei -139, ShanghaiC
closed, Hangseng -40. STI closed -25 at 3207. Volume was 1.5b shares.
Gainers were 122 to 213 losers.
Trend of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were AdvancedSystems unchanged, ThomsonMedical +0.4, RexIntl
unchanged, NicoSteel unchanged, Genting unchanged, Vallianz unchanged,
KrisEnergy -0.1, HuAnCable unchanged, Ezion -0.1, YZJ unchanged.
STI opened slightly down but fell more after an hour of trading to close at
morning low. After lunch it pulled back slightly to close off the day low
at -25. Day low was -33.
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was also weaker.
