European bourses were down last night. Dow was +40 at 26487. Trend of Dow
is still looking down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +320, ShanghaiC +5, Hangseng -30. STI
closed -15 at 3167. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 157 to 186
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were NicoSteel +0.1, NamCheong -0.2, ThomsonMed -0.1, RexIntl
+0.1, YZJ +4, ThaiBev -2.5, Ezion unchanged, Vallianz unchanged, HuAnCable
+0.1, Genting unchanged.
STI opened flat and stayed flat for most part of the morning but closed
slightly down for lunch. After lunch it slid down all the way to close
near day low at -15. Day low was -21.
Blue chips closed slightly weaker. The general market was also weaker.
