European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -126 at 25191.
Trend of Dow is down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +87, ShanghaiC +8, Hangseng -97. STI
closed +5 at 3037. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 155 to 179
losers.
Trend of STI is rather flat at this point and looking near to turning up.
Top volumes were RexIntl -1.4, Genting -2.5, KLW -0.1, Metech -0.1,
AlliedTech +0.1, ThomsonMed unchanged, ThaiBev -2.5, NicoSteel +0.2, YZJ
-1, Ezion -0.2
STI opened up and closed at day high at 3053 for lunch. After lunch it
drifted down to close near day low at +1.
Blue chips were slightly firmer but the general market was slightly weaker.
