European bourses and Dow recovered some losses last night.  Dow was +401

closing at 24985. Trend of Dow is still down.  European bourses opened

down.

Asian bourses closed mostly down.  Nikkei -83, ShanghaiC -5, Hangseng -291.

STI closed -43 at 2969.  Volume was 1.8b shares.  Gainers were 122 to 236

losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were PineCap -0.1, Genting -2.5, RexIntl -0.6, YZJ -3,

CapitaMallTr -6, GoldenAgri +1, AscendasReit -1, ThaiBev -0.5,

SembcorpMarine -11, SingTel -2.

STI opened slightly down but continued to fall to close near morning low

for lunch. After lunch it regained some losses to close at -43.

Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was down.

European bourses and Dow's future are down at this point in time.
