European bourses closed mixed last night while Dow was -89 at 25251.  Trend

of Dow is down.  European bourses were up on opening.

Asian bourses  closed mixed.  Nikkei +253, ShanghaiC -22, Hangseng +17. STI

closed -10 at 3036.  Volume was 1.7b shares.  Gainers were 170 to 167

losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were AlliedTech +0.2, RexIntl +0.1, HPHTrust -0.5, Genting

-1.5, NicoSteel unchanged, OUEComReitR -0.8, ThomsonMed +0.1, Spackman

+0.2, GoldenAgri unchanged, YZJ +2.

STI opened slightly up but kept going down to close at morning low for

lunch. After lunch it moved up slightly but slid down again by mid

afternoon to close near day low at -10. Day low was -15.

European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is up.
