European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow +548 closing at 25798.
Trend of Dow has stopped falling for the moment. European bourses opened
mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly up a little. Nikkei +286, ShanghaiC +15,
Hangseng closed. STI closed +40 at 3074. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers
were 214 to 128 losers.
Trend of STI is levelling.
Top volumes were NicoSteel unchanged, Genting +1.5, Asiatic -0.4,
ThomsonMed unchanged, AlliedTech -0.2, Ezion +0.1, YZJ +5, RexIntl -0.1,
Jiutian -0.5, OUEComReitR +0.1.
STI opened up and closed at day high for lunch. After lunch it drifted
down but stayed steady at +45 level for most part of the afternoon session.
It fell a bit more in the last hour to close at day low at +40.
Blue chips were mostly up. The general market was firmer as well.
European bourses are mixed at this moment but Dow's future is slightly
down.
