European bourses were down last night but Dow closed +123 at 26774. Trend
of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -150, Shanghai closed, Hangseng -35.
STI closed +22 at 3265. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 219 to 135
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were SinoCloud -0.1, NicoSteel +0.1, ThaiBev +4, ThomsonMed
+0.7, GoldenAgri +0.5, RexIntl +0.1, IPCO unchanged, YZJ +3, AlliedTech
+0.1, Ezion +0.1.
STI opened slightly up and moved up higher to close for lunch near morning
high at 3273. After lunch it hovered at the same level and only slipped
down slightly in the last hour of trading to close near day high at +22.
Blue chips were mostly higher and the general market was firmer.
