European bourses closed mixed.  Dow closed +123 at 24001.  Trend of Dow is

up.  European bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei +196, ShanghaiC +19, Hangseng +146.

STI clsoed +18 at 3202.  Volume was 1.6b shares.  Gainers were 238 to 152

losers.

Trend of STI is up.

Top volumes were GSH -0.5, Ezion +0.1, CharismaEnergy +0.3, RexIntl +0.2,

RichCapital -0.1, ThaiBev +0.5, ThomsonMed unchanged, Genting unchanged,

KrisEnergy +0.3, SingTel +1.

STI opened up at 3199 and quickly hit day high at 3210 before falling to

day low at 3191. It then slid back to close for lunch at the same level as

opening. After lunch it moved up a bit more but pulled back again to close

at 3202, +18.

Blue chips were mostly up.  The general market was up.

European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
