European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +64 at 23787.
Short term trend of Dow is moving up gradually. European bourses opened
up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +223, ShanghaiC +18, Hangseng +587.
STI closed +27 at 3150. Volume was 1.6b shares. Gainers were 236 to 134
losers.
Trend of STI is up.
Top volumes were Ezion -0.1, ThaiBev +2.5, RexIntl +0.2, ThomsonMed +0.1,
Genting +2, NicoSteel +0.1, RichCapital unchanged, KrisEnergy +0.2,
SweeHong +0.2, CapitaMallTr +5.
STI opened up and continued to climb and closed at near morning high for
lunch. After lunch it continued its climb and was at day high at 3159
after half an hour of trading. It then reversed down but moved up a little
more to close at 3150, higher than the morning opening.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was firmer.
