Daily Summary 30 Jan 19

European bourses and Dow were slightly up last night.  Dow closed +52 at

24580.  Trend of Dow is struggling to continue with its up trend.  European

bourses opened mixed.

Asian bourses closed mixed.  Nikkei -108, ShanghaiC -19, Hangseng +111.

STI closed -13 at 3174.  Volume was 1.4b shares.  Gainers were 201 to 155

losers.

Trend of STI is slipping down.

Top volumes were ThomsonMed +0.4, RexIntl +0.1, Ezion unchanged, Genting

unchanged, YZJ +5, AEM +8.5, ThaiBev -1, CapitaComTr -3, RHTHealthTr +0.3,

CapitaMallTr -4.

STI opened marginally down but turned positive after an hour of trading. It

then turned back down to close slightly down for lunch. After lunch it slid

down all the way to close near day low at -13.  Day low was -18.

Blue chips were weaker. The general market was mixed.

European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is up.
