Europe and Dow were firmly up on Friday. Dow was +336 at 24706. Trend of
Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +53, ShanghaiC +15, Hangseng +106.
STI closed +2 at 3227. Volume was 1.8b shares. Gainers were 192 to 173
losers.
Trend of STI is up but flattening.
Top volumes were JCG unchanged, RexIntl -0.1, Ezion unchanged, Genting
+0.3, LionGold unchanged, Vallianz +0.1, ThaiBev +2.5, KrisEnergy +0.1,
Jiutian +0.2, ThomsonMed -0.2.
STI opened marginally up and reached a day high after an hour of trading.
It slipped back a little to close for lunch at +16. After lunch it hovered
around this level and only slipped in the last half an hour to close at +2.
Blue chips were firmer and so was the general market.
