European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -302 at 24404.
Trend of Dow is showing first sign of weakening. European bourses opened
down.
Asian bourses closed mixed and generally flat. Nikkei -29, ShanghaiC +1,
Hangseng +3. STI closed -21 at 3172. Volume was 1.25b shares. Gainers
were 137 to 201 losers.
Trend of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were Genting unchanged, JCG unchanged, RexIntl unchanged, Ezion
unchanged, CapitaMallTr +4, ThaiBev unchanged, LionGold unchanged,
ImperiumCrown -0.5, HPHTrust -0.5, AscendasReit -3.
STI opened slightly down but turned slightly positive after an hour of
trading. It then fell back to slightly negative to close for lunch. After
lunch it slid further down all the way to close at near day low at -21. Day
low was -27
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was weaker.
