European bourses closed flat and mixed last night. Dow closed +19 at
23346. Short term trend of Dow is inching up. European bourses opened
down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC -1, Hangseng
-66. STI closed -27 at 3012. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 143 to
205 losers.
Short term trend of STI is turning down.
Top volumes were ThaiBev -1.5, Ezion -0.1, KLW -0.2, Genting unchanged,
SingTel -2, YZJ -2, RexIntl -0.1, CapitaMallTr +1, AscendasReit +2,
GoldenAgri -1.
STI opened down and tried to move back up. It was at day high at 3041 after
trading for an hour. After that it fell to close for lunch at morning low.
After lunch it fell further but recovered some grounds to close slightly
below morning low at 3012. Day low was 3002.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was down.
