European bourses closed down last night but Dow was up 98 at 23531. Short
term trend of Dow is slightly up.. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses were mixed and flat. Nikkei +165, ShanghaiC -7, Hangseng -8.
STI closed +21.5 at 3124. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 185 to 160
losers.
Short term trend of STI is turning up.
Top volumes were Declout +2, Ezion +0.1, RexIntl +0.2, Renaissance
unchanged, ThaiBev +1.5, ThomsonMed +0.2, KrisEnergy +0.2, YZJ unchanged,
SingTel unchanged, Genting -1.
STI opened up but quickly dipped to negative after 15 minutes. It stayed
negative for half an hour before turning up and closed for lunch on a
positive note. After lunch it continued to climb to close at day high at
+21.5.
Blue chips were mostly green but the general market was mixed.
