23996. Short term trend of Dow is pointing up. European bourses opened
down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei +196, ShanghaiC -18, Hangseng
-369. STI closed -18 at 3181. Gainers were 134 to 225 losers.
Trend of STI is still up.
Top volumes were ChinaMed +0.1, LionGold +0.1, ThaiBev +2, Ezion -0.3,
Jiutian +0.2, Spackmann +0.4, SweeHong +0.1, SingTel -5, YingLi +0.7,
Genting -1.
STI opened slightly up but quickly fell to negative. It closed near
morning low. After lunch it continued to fall to close near day low at
-18. Day low was -23.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market down.
