Daily Summary 10 May 19

European bourses and Dow were down last night.  Dow closed -139 to close at

25828. It was down more than 400 points. Trend of Dow is down.  European

bourses opened up.

Asian bourses closed mostly up.  Nikkei -57, ShanghaiC +88, Hangseng +287.

STI closed +4 at 3273.  Volume was 1b shares.  Gainers were 162 to 180

losers.

Trend of STI is down.

Top volumes were Genting -1.5, GInvacom +1.1, YZJ -3, ThomsonMed unchanged,

SingTel +3, RexIntl +0.1, AsianPayTV +0.2, AllianceMineral +0.2,

ComfortDelgro +1, SuntecReit -1.

STI opened up and was at day high by mid morning at 3296. It then slipped

back to close for lunch +4 points.  After lunch it fell to negative before

recovering to positive and closed at +4.

Blue chips were slightly firmer.  The general market was slightly weaker.

European bourses are up at this moment but Dow's future is slightly down.
