European bourses and Dow continued its third day of gains last night. Dow
closed +215 at 25863. Trend of Dow is turning up. European bourses opened
down.
Asian bourses closed mixed after a firmer opening. Nikkei +187, ShanghaiC
-73, Hangseng -329. STI closed -22 at 3208. Volume was 1.2b shares.
Gainers were 158 to 197 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Genting -1, ThaiBev +1.5, ThomsonMed -0.1, YZJ -2,
SuntecReit unchanged, RexIntl +0.1, AscendasReit unchanged, MapletreeLogTr
-1, LionGold unchanged, GoldenAgri +0.5, KeppelReit -2.
STI opened flat but fell through the morning to close for lunch at morning
low. After lunch it stayed at the same level for an hour before making a
turn up but fell back by late afternoon to close at the same level as
morning close at -22.
Blue chips were weaker. The general market was also weaker.
European bourses and Dow's future are down at the moment.
