European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow closed -286 at 25490.
Trend of Dow down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei -34, ShanghaiC flat, Hangseng
+87. STI closed +7 at 3168. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 204 to
125 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were ISRCapital unchanged, YZJ -1, AA -0.3, GoldenAgri -1,
EagleHTrust(IPO) closed at 73c, Genting -0.5, AsianPayTV +0.4, RexIntl
+0.1, CapitaComTr unchanged, SingTel +3.
STI opened down but moved to slightly positive quickly. It then slipped
back to close for lunch -8. After lunch it gradually move up to close near
day high at +7. Day high was +13.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
