Europe closed mixed while Dow was +114 at 25947. Trend of Dow is still
down. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses were mixed. Nikkei -167, ShanghaiC -35, Hangseng +239. ST
closed -36 at 3238. Volume was 750m shares. Gainers were 113 to 252
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were ThaiBev -6, JEP +1.6, Genting -2.5, JCG unchanged,
NamCheong -0.1, GInvacom +0.1, YZJ -2, Spackman -0.1, SuntecReit +1,
AscendasReit -1.
STI opened slightly down but fell further and was near morning low when
closed for lunch. After lunch it slipped down a bit and attempted to move
up only to fall lower after mid afternoon. It closed off day low at -36.
Day low was -47.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was down.
European bourses and Dow's future are sharply down at this moment with fear
that the Sino US trade negotiation is breaking down.
