European bourses closed mixed while Dow closed -122 at 26308. Trend of Dow
has broken down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei closed, ShanghaiC +16, Hangseng
+137. STI closed +0.5 at 3394. Volume was 750m shares. Gainers were 161
to 180 losers.
Trend of STI is still looking up.
Top volumes were Genting unchanged, YZJ -1, AnchorResources -0.2,
GoldenAgri +0.5, GInvacom +0.4, MapletreeLogTr -2, AllianceMineral +0.8,
Capitaland +7, NamCheong +0.1, AsianPayTv +0.2.
STI opened down and fell further before pulling back up a little in late
morning. It closed for lunch at 3383. After lunch it moved up a little and
was marginally positive by mid afternoon. It then hovered at this level
for the rest of the day to close flat at 3394.
Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was also a bit down.
