European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow was +197 at 25877. Trend
of Dow has broken the short term down trend. European bourses opened
mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +11, ShanghaiC -14, Hangseng +43. STI
closed -3 at 3181. Volume was 930m shares. Gainers were 162 to 167
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volume were NicoSteel unchanged, Genting -0.5, AsianPayTv +0.1, Chasen
-0.1, ISRCapital +0.1, ThaiBev +0.5, NetLink -0.5, ChinaRealEstate -0.1,
YZJ -3, CapitalMallTr -1.
STI opened flat but moved up and was at day high by mid morning at 3198.
It then slipped down slightly to close for lunch at 3190. After lunch it
moved up a bit more only to fall back and was at flat level for the rest of
the afternoon. It closed at -3.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market was also mixed.
