European bourses and Dow were down last night. Dow was -238 after moving
up in early trading to close at 25348. Trend of Dow is down. European
bourses are down on opening.
Asian bourses were mostly down. Nikkei -260, ShanghaiC +5, Hangseng -155.
STI closed -11 at 3155. Volume was 1.1b shares. Gainers were 140 to 201
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were ISRCapital -0.1, Genting -1, YZJ unchanged, RexIntl -0.4,
SingTel +3, ThaiBev -0.5, NetLink +1, ThomsonMed -0.2, GoldenAgri
unchanged, MMP unchanged.
STI was sharply down on opening but made a climb and was nearly flat after
an hour of trading. It closed for lunch -10 points. After lunch it moved
up again and was at day high at -1 but fell again. It closed at -11.
Blue chips were slightly weaker. The general market was down.
