European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +116. Trend of
Dow is starting to turn up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -134, ShanghaiC +17, Hangseng +37. STI
closed +13 at 3232. Volume was 957m shares. Gainers were 172 to 186
losers.
Trend of STI is starting to turn.
Top volumes were YZJ +3, RexIntl +0.1, Chasen -0.2, GInvacom -0.1,
AllianceMineral +1.2, NetLink +0.5, ThaiBev -0.5, Genting +0.5, SingTel +1,
GoldenAgri -0.5.
STI opened down but started to turn up after an hour of trading and was
marginally positive by mid morning. It closed for lunch at +3. After lunch
it dipped to negative but recovered and stayed slightly up for the latter
part of the session. It closed at day high at +13.
Blue chips were slightly firmer. The general market was slightly weaker.
European bourses and Dow's future are down at this moment.
