Dow and European bourses were down in the last two sessions. Yesterday Dow
was -84 at 25680. Trend of Dow is slipping down. European bourses opened
up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -29, ShanghaiC +35, Hangseng -126. STI
closed -26 at 3179. Volume was 1.2b shares. Gainers were 109 to 260
losers.
Trend of STI is looking down.
Top volumes were JCG unchanged, NetLinkNBN unchanged, YZJ -3, Genting -1,
MDR +0.1, ESRReit +1, NicoSteel -0.1, SingTel unchanged, ThaiBev +0.5,
ThomsonMed -0.4.
STI opened marginally down but fell further after an hour and closed for
lunch -13 points. After lunch it continued to fall and close near day low
at -26. Day low was -28.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was down.
