European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +373 at 26280.
Trend of Dow is about to turn back up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly higher. Nikkei +200, ShanghaiC +12, Hangseng
+25. STI closed -1 at 3145. Volume was 611m shares. Gainers were 185 to
162 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were SingTel -2, MapletreeNAC -2, ComfortDelGro -11,
CapitaComTr -3, ThaiBev +1.5, Jiutian -0.1, Genting +1, NetLink unchanged,
RexIntl unchanged, Wilmar -19.
STI opened +24 points but slipped down after half an hour of trading and
was marginally positive by mid morning. It then pulled up slightly to close
for lunch +8 points. After lunch it fell again and reached day low by mid
morning at 3137 before moving back up a little to close -1 points at 3145.
Blue chips were mixed. The general market saw about even gainers and
losers.
