European bourses closed sharply down on Friday. Dow closed -98. It was
down more than 300 points at its low. Trend of Dow is down. European
bourses opened sharply down.
Asian bourses were sharply down today let by the worsening situation in
Hong Kong and trade tension between US and China. STI closed -65 at 3197.
Volume was 777m shares. Gainers were 72 against 318 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were YZJ -4, Genting -1.5, MapletreeNACTr -6, GoldenAgri -0.5,
Spackman -0.2, KeppelReit -3, CapitaComTr -4, SuntecReit -2, AscottReit -2,
AscendasReit +4.
STI opened down 20 points and fell more to close near morning low at 3205
for lunch. After lunch it remained at this level and slipped down a bit
more in the last hour of trading to close at 3197.
Blue chips were nearly all in the red. The general market was mostly down.
