European bourses and Dow were firmly up last Friday. Dow closed 307 at
25886. Trend of Dow is down but turning up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mostly up. Nikkei +144, ShanghaiC +59, Hangseng +548.
STI closed +12 at 3127. Volume was 1b shares. Gainers were 195 to 149
losers.
Trend of STI is still down.
Top volumes were LionGold unchanged, YZJ +2, RexIntl +1, Genting +2,
ThaiBev unchanged, ThomsonMed +0.2, AEM +2, Synagie -0.3, MapletreeNAC +3.
STI opened flat but moved up quickly and closed the morning session near
morning high at 3132. After lunch it continued to climb a bit more but
turned down slightly after mid afternoon to close slightly lower at 3127.
Day high was 3138.
Blue chips were mostly higher. The general market was firmer.
