European bourses were down last night. Dow closed +100 at 25579. Trend of
Dow is down. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei -37, ShanghaiC +8, Hangseng +234. STI
closed -11 at 3115. Volume was 847m shares. Gainers were 173 to 163
losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were YZJ +13, LionGold unchanged, ThaiBev -2, KLW unchanged,
ReenovaInvestment unchanged, Seroja +4.6, MapletreeNAC +4, Genting +0.5,
SingTel -2, Synagie +1.
STI opened down and stayed down the whole session. It hit day low in the
first hour of trading at 3091 before closing for lunch at 3104. After
lunch it moved up a little more and closed near day high at 3115. Day high
was 3123 just before closing.
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was slightly firmer.
