European bourses closed mixed while Dow was down on Friday. Dow was -133 at 28824. One year trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened up.
Asian bourses clsoed mixed. Nikkei closed, , ShanghaiC +23, Hangseng +317. STI closed -5 at 3251. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 247 to 190 losers.
Trend of STI is pointing slightly up.
Top volumes were AusGroup -0.2, Medtecs +0.6, OEL +0.2, AsiaPhos +0.7, Genting -0.5, ThePlaceHolding +0.1, InterraResources -0.1, RexIntl +0.2, YZJ -1, SingTel -5.
STI opened +3 at 3259. It quickly moved up to day high in half an hour of trading at 3268. It fell back all the way to close for lunch near morning low at 3254. After lunch is struggled at the same level and fell a bit more in late afternoon trading to close near day low at 3251. Day low was at 3248.
Blue chips closed mixed. The general market was firmer.
European bourses and Dow's future are up at this moment.
