European bourses and Dow were down on Friday. Dow closed -234 at 28635. european bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mostly down. Nikkei -452, ShanghaiC -1, Hangseng -225. STI closed -25 at 3214. Volume was 1.3b shares. Gainers were 166 to 295 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were AusGroup +0.6, GoldenAgri unchanged, MedTecs +1.1, InterraResources +0.5, RexIntl unchanged, Artivision +0.1, MarcoPoloMarine unchanged, Broadway unchanged, YZJ -2, ThomsonMed -0.2.
STI opened -17 at 3222. It then traded up and down, hitting morning high at 3226 but closed for lunch at 3222. After lunch it moved up slightly but fell again and closed the day at 3214.
Blue chips were mostly in the red. The general market was down.
