European bourses and Dow were up last night. Dow closed +12 at 28734. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened sharply down with the continuing fear of the Wuhan virus spreading.
Asian bourses fell sharply. Nikkei -402, ShanghaiC closed, Hangseng -712. STI closed -14 at 3169. Volume was 2.35b shares. Gainers were 208 to 347 losers.
Trend of STI is slipping down.
Top volumes were OEL +1.4, Medtecs -2.3, Ntegrator -0.1, AusGroup -0.1, RexIntl -0.7, AsisPhos +0.4, HealthwayMed -0.4, Jiutian -0.1, YZJ -2.5, Genting unchanged.
STI opened marginally up and moved up a bit more to hit 3191 in half an hour, the high of the day. It then reversed down and closed for lunch at morning low at 3164. After lunch it hovered at this level before falling to day low at 3153 after mid afternoon. There was a bit of pull back in the last hour to close at 3169.
Blue chips were mostly red. The general market was down.
European bourses and Dow's future are sharply down at this moment.
