European bourses and Dow closed up on Friday. Dow closed +50 at 29348. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei 42, ShanghaiC +20, Hangseng -261. STI closed -5 at 3276. Volume was 2.5b shares. Gainers were 220 to 214 losers.
Trend of STI is sideways.
Top volumes were Ntegrator +0.6, OEL +0.6, Jiutian +0.5, GCCP +0.4, Blumont unchanged, QTVascular +0.2, AusGroup unchanged, Spackman +0.1, AsiaPhos -0.5, CapitalWorld +0.2.
STI opened flat but fell to negative in less than half an hour. It moved up slightly but fell back again to close for lunch at 3272, -9. After lunch it struggled to move up but unable to turn positive and closed at 3276.
Blue chips were mostly down. The general market was mixed.
