European bourses were down last night. Dow closed +125 at 28859. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened mixed.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +227, Shanghai closed, Hangseng -137. STI closed -19 at 3152. Volume was 1.9b shares. Gainers were 184 to 292 losers.
Trend of STI is down.
Top volumes were Medtecs -6.1, OEL -0.8, AsiaPhos -1.4, GoldenAgri -1, AsiaMedic -0.2, HealthwayMed -0.6, RexIntl +0.1, Genting -1, AusGroup unchanged, SingTel -7.
STI opened marginally up and moved higher quickly to 3186 before sliding down to negative and closed for lunch at 3165. After lunch it continued to fall before pulling back slightly to close at 3152.
Blue chips were mixed but the general market was weaker.
European bourses are mixed at this moment while Dow's future is down.
