European bourses closed mixed last night. Dow closed +83 at 28907. Trend of Dow is up. European bourses opened down.
Asian bourses closed mixed. Nikkei +175, Shanghaic -9, Hangseng -70. STI closed +16 at 3267. Volume was 1.5b shares. Gainers were 230 to 237 losers.
Trend of STI is pointing slightly up.
Top volumes were CWXGlobal +0.1, Ausgroup -0.2, BlackGoldNatural +0.3, Trendlines +1.3, TEE -0.7, Medtecs -0.3, SingTel -2, ThaiBev -3, ThePlaceHldg +0.1, MapletreeNACTr +2.
STI opened +11. It traded up and down in the morning session before closing for lunch at 3262. After lunch it moved higher and was at day high in late afternoon at 3269 before pulling back to close at 3267.
There were more gainers among blue chips than losers. The general market was a bit weaker.
European bourses and Dow's future are down at this moment.
